Workcell Motion Platform

Accudyne designed and built this custom high speed, high load motion table for an automated fiber tape placement application. The table has 1.5m of travel in both x and Y directions and is capable of 365deg of rotation. The workcell has maximum speeds of 2m/sec linear velocity and 360deg/sec of rotation, all with a maximum load on the table of 2500kg. The system worked so well for the customer that we built a second motion platform to meet their increased production demands 2 years later.
